Byre Cottage (Sleeps 4 + Cot)

Byre Cottage is one half of the farm steading which until 1993 housed our cattle. The exterior is little changed but the interior has been transformed into a roomy, comfortable holiday home on two floors. The kitchen, living room, hall and bathroom are on the ground floor with two bedrooms upstairs. The cottage is in a lovely location at the head of Loch Sween with excellent walks directly from your door.

Stable Cottage (Sleeps 4 + Cot)

Stable Cottage adjoins Byre Cottage and has south and west facing windows. It is many years since it housed the horses which were replaced by tractors long ago. It is a good cottage for families as it has a bath as well as a shower and the large hall has lots of room for wellies, outdoor gear and pushchairs. There is a baby bath, stair gate and high chair for toddlers. It also has an automatic washing machine. You can hang washing and outdoor gear in the open barn opposite the cottage.

Kirkland Lodge (Sleeps 3 + Cot)

Kirkland, a timber built lodge on one level, stands in its own woodland garden and has uninterrupted views of Loch Sween. You can launch small boats and canoes from the foreshore, twenty metres from your door. It sleeps 3 plus a cot in two bedrooms but is particularly recommended for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The front of the lodge faces west so the evening sky can be quite spectacular. Kirkland is a mile and a half south of Seafield so we are not far away if you need us.
